      What would you rather have..

Would you rather have £1 million or the ability to Lucid dream everynight guaranteed?

To be honest, I'd prefer to lucid dream. The feeling... it's so much more than a million bucks.

      LD goals:
      - fire- [*DONE*], water-, earth- and airbending
      - running up a skyscrapper
      - flying
LDs total: (some in my childhood, but) 3

Very difficult question. A million pounds is like two million American dollars though, right? I think I'd take the money, because you can train yourself to lucid dream faster than you can make two million bucks.

      I'd choose the LD's.

Can't buy the happiness and freedom LDing gives you. This may be difficult for others, but not for me. I don't desire alot of money.

To clarify, does taking the money mean that I can never lucid dream?

the option for choosing £1 million should come with the clause never to lucid dream again.
I'd take the £1 million anyway

I'd take the one million... 90% of my stress would be gone and I would have more time to lucid dream...

it's a really hard decision. I would want to pick LD, but it just seems kind of selfish and irresponsible to me (no offence meant to anyone) because think of all the things you could do with 2 million dollars. I could pay off my parents' debt (sp?) so they wouldn't have to worry so much about it anymore and they would stop fighting so much. Then we could finally move out of this crappy town and go somewhere where my mom would be happy. If I was smart about how I used it, I could make a REAL impact on the waking world. I would really miss the LDs I sacrificed, but it just seems like changing the real world is so much more important than laying in my bed all day doing nothing productive. that's not to say I wouldn't LOVE doing that for my whole life, but to me there are way more important things than just one person's (my) experience.

I wouldn't want to just instantly LD every night if it didn't take discipline to obtain.. Wouldn't that be unsatisfying? So the cash.

Guess it depends on the quality of the LDs that I was promised.

On the other hand, 2 million bucks would really help out my family. So I would choose it for them, especially if I could continue to pursue LDing on my own. If it wasn't for them, I think I would go for the LDs though.

I would choose the money. Dream control has so far been much easier to learn than earning money. Anyway, I need the money more than I need to dream more easily (you can't buy food with dreams, uunless they are really really interesting and you have a publishing contract), and aside from that, it seems that lucidity would be far cooler after having worked for it, whereas money is cooler when its free.

I get that very often when I have money. Its a really weird and awful thing. In some ways I'm glad not to have too much stuff.
It reminds me of a comedy routine called 'The Glass.' In the middle he just randomly bursts out with 'Starving Africans, starving Africans, starving Africans, they ruin everything!' talking about how bad it akes him feel when he buys alot of stuff.
