Do you get hungry during a LD?

I was remembering my LD experiences and notice that I never get hungry in my lds by consequence I haven't tried Food while Lucid. Does anyone have experienced a hungry feeling during a LD? have you eaten in a LD? Does food taste different from real life food?.

I'm heard that food does taste different in an LD with little practice. But just like anything with dream control, when you work at it you get better. I wonder if this would cause you to loose your hunger, like a placebo effect. I heard tell of a woman who was addicted to chocolate and was on the verge of deatch because of it. She began to eat sweets in her dream, which in turn drastically reduced her craving for them in real life. This might be vey helpful to me, as I like fast food. xD

Nope! I've only eaten in a LD just to find out what happens. The tastes
are always different and are sometimes chewy or crunchy. But I'm never
      hungry in a LD.

I've had food while dreaming and it tasted great.
Maybe the food just tastes like what you think it would taste like. Since your LD'ing you think things would be different thus making them different.

I have never been hungry in a LD however I wanted to see if things tasted the same as in waking life. So i had an LD and found myself in a field with nothing but grass and dirt but thought oh well and decided to eat grass to see what it was like. It tasted very grassy. I also ate some dirt and it tasted dirty.

I've also heard of people being assisted on their diets by satisfying their food cravings in their dreams but i've never been a huge food craving person. I'll just stick with the grass and dirt. haha

I've tried eating in my lucids before. Its pretty fun. I've read a few people's dream journals who love to binge on "forbidden" food when they are lucid. It seems like a healthy way to satisfy a restrictive diet.

A while back we had several Tasks of the Month in a row that involved eating. I was incubating it so hard, I had a rash of bizarre eating dreams.

In a lucid this morning i went into a shop and bought lots of sweets and chocolate but i noticed i wasnt hungry. I think if i am hungry in rl i am in lucids and vice versa.

      I still ate everything though.

      Thread cured.
