I often have trouble getting higher than rooftops, but did once push myself to go beyond. I rocketed straight upwards, and travelled to the sun where I promptly exploded. |

For those of you that fly in your lucid dreams I'm curious to know what happens to you when you push the limits and keep going up. I have never been able to fly out into space. Every time I push through the sky the dreamscape changes. Has anyone's mind here been able to actually manifest space or a trip to the moon? |

Cowards Die In Shame
Nothing really it felt as normal as flying in the sky but, i did have a dream last week that i was flying in space just a few feet above earth and that was my first time i fly that high. I was being chased. |
|
Nothing. I always snag the window seat on airplanes (I LOVEEEEEE flying, even in RL!) and so I have a pretty good sense of what it is like to be at different heights above the earth. Usually during flights I just lean against the window and try to remember everything and pretend that I am actually in a lucid, stuff like that helps. Flying in the cockpit of a plane also is helpful. The only time I've ever had a problem with it is when I read someone's post about how you can't fly too high...? And second guessed myself. Once I got over that lame theory it was right back to zooming around the stratosphere. Never been all the way to space, though. |
|
I have been skydiving. I had a dream a year later that I was skydiving. That was a great feeling of seeing the ground just as small as it was. Unfortunately I don't like flying in planes. Sitting in 1 seat for hours on end is daunting. At first it was great but the novelty wore off quickly lol. |
|
A few times i have been above the clouds, sometimes so high i expect to enter space. |
|
Last night I got swatted down by a tree A few times I've been into outer space, it's so much fun. I will get there again soon I'm sure. I got a task of the year to complete |
|
I had a lucid dream once years ago. Up until that point I'd been able to fly, but never too high. |

Lucid Dreams:-
MILD/DILD: 79
WILD: 13
DEILD:13
(TOTAL: 108 )
It's too much for my mind to accurately draw my neighborhood from above, and it all fades to sky, then the dream forcibly changes, removing lucidity from me in the process, or I wake up. |
|
I used to soar into space no problem. But sometimes I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I go too high. I sometimes grab onto trees when that happens. Flying devices usually help. Also helps to have a focal point to go to. If you see the moon try and fly to it. It's easier. |

I generally reach a limit where I can't get any further, how high that is varies. |

Has anyone ever left Earth's atmosphere and looked at the solar system from a new perspective? That would be amazing |

Wow, that's an insane idea. |

Yep went through a rooftop [kinda freaked out the ppl I were talking to there eyes got really small and I started a mini sp only a few seconds.} and into outer space pretty frekan fast |
|
I've actually had several normal dreams (before I even knew about lucid dreaming) where I would fly too high and wind up in space. It was rather weird at the time, slowly drifting away and watching the Earth get smaller. I've never done it on purpose though. One time I actually did land on the moon, lol. |

When you hear that cold wind calling,
Hold on tight to your dream."

I just had a lucid last night where i pushed my self to go to cloud level for the first time. |

Total lucids: 22 DILD(20) DEILD(1) semi lucid (6) objectives: attain perfect clarity [X] Grow a controllable tail [3/5] Fly[X] waterbend[ ] meet my dream guide[ ] change dreamscape[ ] perform a perfect Kamehameha wave[1/2] become my fursona [ ]
When I was a kid, I couldn't get past the roof of my house, then I started pushing myself. I told myself that I really shouldn't be scared. I've been shot before in dreams and not felt anything so why would I be scared of falling? Even to this day whenever I become lucid I experience fear of heights. It sucks! Last night i dreamt just above the ground there we small floating islands, and I flew to them, but I was fearful the entire time, like I was going to drop out of the sky. |

Well, I'm sort of a natural at flying. Some people have problems but I can just shoot up there without any problems to at least 15,000 feet. After that I have a bit more trouble keeping the dream, but honestly I believe it is because of threads like these in which people have trouble and pass on the worry, so you get the same symptoms. At any rate one day I told myself I had to get to space, and I finally made it. In my dreams the sky is "flat." I mean that like this. First look up and judge the height of the sky based on the horizon. Obviously that is WAY closer to the ground than in reality. But in my dreams that is the height of the sky (probably like 20,000 feet). When I broke the sky I looked down at the Earth. I didn't study to see if it was correct, but I orbited it twice before landing in a different city. While it was fun I prefer flying at only a few hundred feet a lot more. |
|
My next fully aware lucid, which I hope is VERY soon. I've got the perfect idea. I'm going to make a suit out of one of those flying/skydiving suits and put two RC jet engines on my legs and jump off the empire state building and FLY! |
|
I've been bicycling more. As a result, my current "flying" mimics fast bicycle riding. |
