      Which Technique has it been

      Hi everyone

I've experienced my first lucid dream last night, and I wanted to make shure which technique it was.

I was kinde motivated when i went to bed. i woke up at 7.00am from a non-lucid dream which ended in the street where i live. I watched the clock, thought "hey its weekend i can continue sleeping", switched off the light and closed my eyes again. I was not really woken up because i immediatly started to drift away into sleep.

I have to say that I did not attempt a lucid dream or anything like this at this moment.

The point is I was sleeping agains about a minute later, standing next to a street light in the street where I live, just like in the dream before. There was nothing strange about the setting, but I was suddenly totaly shure that this is a dream, and jumped off the ground, just as high as the street lamp. I thought "Finnaly did it. this is my first lucid dream" and startet to fly around.

What im interested in now is which technique this actually was, because it seemed to be good for me, so that i can approve it and use it attempted.

      Thanks
      Thorim

hi and welcome! I think it was an accidental DELID. I also had my first LD just a week or so back - had a DILD, then a DELID all in one go! atm trying to have my second one. do you have msn messenger/AOL/ICQ/skype/yahoo IM/ etc?
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

It's called a DEILD, not a 'DELID, but yes, sounds like an accidental DEILD to me.

Look up the DEILD technique on this site for more info.

      And to DV

yes i think they are right it was a deild, but i thought you arent supposed to move when you wake up, so as not to break sp or something.
