      continuing dreams

Ok, so I know it's possible to wake up from a dream and then kinda pick it back up again if you go right back to sleep cause it happens to me all the time)

But has anyone here had a lucid dream where you wake up from it in the morning and then pick up again when you go to sleep at night for days in a row? Not a recurring dream, but like another world kinda.. where things go on pause while you are awake and then pick up again when you go to sleep

I haven't, but am also curious. It would be helpful to pick up maybe a story you had set up in your dream. If you just wanted to go back to a cool setting or environment you could just open a door or teleport
The creature laughed, scornfully. "I," it said, "am afraid of nothing." "Nothing?" "Nothing," it said. "Are you extremely afraid of nothing?" "Absolutely terrified of it," admitted the dragon. "You know, I have nothing in my pocket, would you like to see it?" "No," said the dragon, uncomfortably, "I most definitely would not." There was flapping....and Charlie was alone of the beach.
"That," he said, "was much too easy."

I've been trying to create this thing exactly on purpose. A persistent world that exists only in a dream, becoming the perfect clue you are dreaming.

I have a place in mind, the major details are worked out in my head, but I'm leaving a lot of things unfinished so that the dream can fill in the blanks(one such detail being the NAME of this place)

Right now my strategy is using self-hypnosis to make this place the location for all my dreams, but it isn't working...

I have done this a few times in the past. The best results occur when I think of the dream I had before as I fall asleep. Then when i sleep, i'm back in sometimes

There are certain dream environments I seem to keep returning too.
      Streets, and rooms and buildings.
They're not past memories either as far as I can tell. I only ever see them in dreams.

There was a period, years ago, when just about every lucid was in a town by the sea. I used to call it Dreamville.

      Post my dream

right, so i had this dream where i was literally just chilling in my house with a couple of people i recognise from my college and one person in particular that i cannot put a face on (often cant remember faces of characters in dreams) but when i am not focusing all my attention on it i seem to build up a clear image of what the face looked like yet when i think of it the face disappears again, do you think lucid dreaming could help to put a face on the person?
