Well considering you said no pills which pretty much just eliminated the rest of the possibilities. You sir are fucked...

I suppose you could always do it the old fashion way.... wait till you are actually tired enough to fall asleep regardless of how long it takes.

Other than that no suggestions for you.

That's wrong actually you said you tried home remedies. Well actually....

What do you mean by home remedies a list is required of what you have tried. Maybe you left something out.

You may want to consider natural sleeping pills I think you can get them off the net or at your local drug store.

Have you tried meditation? Taking pills inhibit REM sleep so if you want to LD no pills. Maybe readjust your sleep time, it's impossible for someone to not feel tired there must be a time slot where you will sleep.

force yourself to stay awake when your tired

When u have that burst of energy

      drink Sleepy time tea.

Its a type of cammameal tea

it really does work (tea isnt a medicne or drug or w/e.. evry1 drinks it)

I have used Melatonin supplements when trying to recover from jet-lag. I am pretty sure they are considered "natural", not that I really care. But they seem to work.

Melatonin is a hormone and I read that if you take them for too long it alters sleep pattern. Maybe it's because you've been taking them and now can't sleep properly? Natural sleeping pills use plant extracts not synthetic chemicals.

I think you need to start experimenting. Melatonin is (as stated above) a natural hormone your body uses during the night (from what I know.)

I, for one, initially had a fucked up sleep pattern (earliest I could get to sleep on school nights was 12:00AM). I now take 6 mg of melatonin every night and I was born with the natural ability to lucid dream.
