Do you find that you have more lucid dreams in your own bed or a different one? I'm house sitting and tonight I'll be sleeping in someone else's home. I'm hoping the change of scenery will provide a nice long lucid dream! Do you find that you have more lucid dreams/vivid dreams in your own bed, in your lovers bed, in a hotel, on the couch, on the floor, or wherever else...? |

Yea i usually have better dreams sleeping in other places |

I say a different bed or location, definitely. I have way more LDs on my parents' bed than mine, especially while napping (WBTB). |
|
I've always had more dreams in places other than my own bed, I'm not sure why. |
|
Same here, when I'm not at home, I get more LDs. It might be because we are more aware of our environment when we are not so used to it. |

Yeah a different location DEFINATELY boosts dreamcall and the chance of a lucid, everytime i go on holiday i have some of the best dreams. |

Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.
Well I think it does even have a medical term in the study of sleeping disorders. Can't remember what it was exactly, but the idea was that the person has hard time falling asleep in his own bed, may lead even into rough case of insomnia. |

Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.
It definitely helps sometimes when I have FAs and I'm lying in my old bed again. |

Staying awake to chase a dream...
From my experience and like others have also said I also find that sleeping in another environment whether it be a different location or a different bed I find the number of LD's I have increases, and the vivindness of such dreams is usually a lot better. |

I tried this last night. I slept in the spare bedroom instead of my own and had very vivid dreams |

i have more lucids in my own bed, maybe because it is so comfortable and in the dream i remember i was in my house! |
|
I find it harder to get lucid on other places, because tend to be anxious and wake up way to much on nights, which is less sleep and dreams, so less chance to lol |
|
Definitely, I always have more and better lds when I"m not in my own bed. I don't know if it's a different environment for me or what. My own bed is pretty shitty so anywhere else is better suited for relaxing for like a WBTB or Wild. I'd say three fourths of my successful wilds occur somewhere other than my bed. |

I've only had 2 lucids since joining DV and they've both been in my bed. I generally don't sleep in another bed!!! ha! Well, on Xmas eve, I'm staying at my parents, so we'll see. The one night last Saturday I stayed somewhere else. No lucid. Some weird dreams, though. |
|
Well... WBTB would work, but when the enviroment is weird it takes me at least 20 mins to get asleep again <.< |
