      Has anyone ever profited from a lucid dream?

      As in asking a DC to give you an idea for a novel or a killer software app or a hit song, etc. Since those dream characters are doorways to the subconscious it seems like they could at least provide us with something of value that we can take to the bank seeing as how we are the ones that give them life. I think I'll try it the next time I have a LD.

      There once was a dude named Loewi. He discovered acetylcholine because he carried out an experiment that appeared to him in a dream. It wasn't a lucid dream, though.

      There once was a dude named Salvador Dali. His works were influenced by drugs. But also, dreams. And also, lucid dreams. He got pretty famous for it, I'd say.

      When I was a kid, I wrote a few lucid dreams into 20 page mini-novels. I thought they weren't long enough, so I never tried to "publish" them. I was only 10. XD

      Supposedly, Purple Haze came to guitar god Jimi Hendrix in a dream.

      I got advice from a DC long, long ago that made me not suck with girls. Wasn't a lucid dream, however.

      It gave me an idea for a quest add-on that I want to make for the game Oblivion. I'm occupied with another add-on (mod) at the moment so I won't start on it yet, but I've written some ideas down which were inspired by the dream I had.
