I have had non-lucid dreams like this. Would be much more fun if it was lucid though.
We are each our own personal god. Never is this more apparent than in our dreams.

Yeah I had a dream where I was in the dream (no duh) and I was having an epic battle and then paused it. The dream then sort of went into a computer like screen where I picked and chose some settings and then resumed the dream. It was a pretty awesome way of changing various (had the choice of all) dream settings.

I'd pay millions to learn how to pause a dream. Of course you'd have to receive payment in dream dollars but those DB's (dream bucks) are good at any local LD Walmart you might happen to visit during an LD.

That's pretty neat that Photoshop (I HOPE it's a photoshop).
Now you've got me curious as to what I might see if I really went into an LDWAL*MART during a dream. The place is a trip already so you can imagine what it might be like in a lucid dream. I guess you wouldn't need a basket, you could just fly over to the isle you're looking for. You could even make the whole toy section come to life (if you've mastered dream control). And since anything's possible I could probably carry that refrigerator that I bought over my shoulder. Now you've got me pumped up about going. If I see that red Barney there greeting people I'll freak.

Unfortunetaly yes. I hate when I sit at my desktop in a dream, playing some crappy computer game. I have better things to do in the dream world!

Can you really control your dreams to that extent? purposefully force things into existence, like pizza =) ? can you just change anything you want to? like go to first person from third person or perhaps even spontaneously wake up or tell your mind you want to watch a funny TV show and subconciously invent one while asleep?
      (im new)

      thanks!

Yes that is quite possible Xanadu. Heck, you could create planets if you wanted. Remember, dreams are basically like intensified-thoughts, so if you can think of it, you can experiance it.

To the OP's question, I haven't done it before, but that would be something I now must try!

I spend my life on the computer and games, so it often bleeds through into my dreams. I've had a bunch of dreams, mostly non-lucid, where this happens (ie, I die and then "load" to a previous moment in the dream). There were some lucid (or at least, partially lucid) dreams where this happened:

At the end of one, the dream faded out and I was left trying to fix a computer crash and "log back in" to where I was in the dream before.

In another one, I was actually at one point presented with a list of "scenes" where I had been in the dream (and some where I hadn't), and could pick whichever one I wanted to appear into.

I've done it before. When it happens, I mostly just point at things and think at it what I want to happen. For a wjhile I had a hotkey panel marked out on my arm (in waking life, as a lucid control induction method. It only translated to a dream twice, and not very well).

And occasionally I twitch, like, triggering the r1/r2 button on a keyboard and shoving the left analog stick over when dodging sideways and firing an energy blast in a computer game-style dream.
