What's the best time to meditate?

In the morning? evening? afternoon? at night? or even before you sleep?

The answer to that question is probably one that differs with each individual.

For me, that time is in the afternoon around 4-5:00, when I'm released from school(when I'm relieved from stress).

Yeah I agree with the above... It all comes down to personal preference, but a rule I like to follow is to meditate when there's not much on my mind and I don't have to do anything for the next few hours (for instance going out to see friends).

      Don't do it before bed!!!

I was meditating before bed to explore hymnagogic imagery, which worked, but had some side effects. Namely shadow people and bodyless evil entities in my room. And I was awake. The shadow people I could handle, even tried to tackle a couple of them. But those bodyless presences in my room that exude pure evil, those things left me cowering under my blankets.

Please keep that sort of stuff to Beyond Dreaming. This is the lucid dreaming forum.

OP, if you would like the thread moved to BD, let me know and it will be done.

*quote added, so that there are no misunderstandings or temper tantrums
