Any Ideas? How lucid dreaming can help with your new years resolution?

Well It is still (sort of the new year) and many people make resolutions. . .So tell yours and list a way lucid dreaming can help. Like mine is to get fit and lose some extra weight. So for me I would tell myself whenever I want to eat bad it can wait till my dream!

      So post!

I read something (maybe out of Laberge's(sp?) book) that a woman would eat all snacks she wanted to in her dreams, rather than in real life, to fulfill her hunger for them.

Mines to swear less, so I don't know how dreaming can help me there.

part of mine is to get fitter and get into a better exercise routine, so I'm not sure how LDing will help there... exercising in my sleep won't really have any good benefits I don't think...

i also want to get myself more outgoing and meet a heap of new people. I'm especially hoping I meet a nice girl this year Maybe LDing could help me practice being outgoing, though i'm usually pretty outgoing in dreams, so it probably won't help much either! Unless an LD reveals the girl of my dreams? :p

Yeah, I'm really outgoing in my dreams...! 'cause I know they won't judge me which EVERYONE in real life does... Oh wait, one DC did mock me once 'cause I was doing weird gestures 'cause I was trying to telekinisis... but I knew that it didn't matter since she's a DC/...

Oh, by the way, you can get more agile from dreams. You won't get stronger but you WILL get more agile. Well if you train your agility in your dream./

How do you get more agile from dreams? I don't see how it's possible but I'm interested in learning how!

I read about it somewhere and made a thread about it. Read it all, its only at the end that they start saying that it does indeed help

I have the feeling that, if you've already got the self control to just not eat then and there, you should just focus on increasing that self-control to not overeat. I'd rather not waste my lucids eating things, though. It's nice when it happens, but there are other, more fun things to do!

I didn't make any resolutions... but now I think I should study more subjects I already know, which could be done by simply studying in dreams, that way I don't have to stop sleeping to study, yay!
