hi! the brain is awesome at making stuff up. I'm sure you could be on a very detailed and intricate Eiffel tower, with details taken from things you have seen, like a photo of it from your childhood, that you don't even remember, and some stuff just made up. However looking at a photostream of the place you plan to visit during sleep can really help. |

While possible, that would be a task that required a lot of practice in dream control. A dream environment (lucid or otherwise) is basically an elaborate collage of symbols woven together by your subconcious. So anything/anyone you encounter will be a symbolic representation of some facet of your psyche (usually things you aren't aware of while awake.) Visiting the Eiffel would be possible, but it wouldn't look like the real Eiffel tower, as your mind would constantly be generating symbols that would interfear with and change the scene. The detail, however, would be as real as waking life. |
