Is it possible to induce a false awakening with a technique or something?

Maybe autosuggestion, I found that it works for some people...
just go to bed and repeat in your mind, with your breaths if you want "False Awakening"
      or something

Hitting snooze often might induce a false awakening. (Between snoozes).

Why would you want to induce a false awakening?

Can you induce a FA through autosuggestion? hmm, never heard of this one, but, I can see where you're coming from, since, you can remember dreams using it

whyyyy would you want to induce one???? I keep having them and would rather use that time for "real" dreaming
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

It wouldn't really work for what you want to use them for, but I can consistently get false awakenings by trying to wake up from a lucid dream. To do that, you already need to be lucid, so it is kind of uselesss.

the main reason is just because i like having them but they do help attain lucidity so..
