      reocurring places

I've an idea. It's probably been done, but I wondered if anyone here has done it.
To find a place, maybe a house or something, that you can consciously go back to
anytime you want to. Not like you own it. But sort of "home base" for you in
dreamland. Or could we even create a place and be able to go back to it when
we choose to. And then, could you tell others of this place and could they find it?
      Just an idea. Opinions?
Just a friendly reminder to do a reality check. : ) Are you dreaming? How do you know?

I dont know if the last part there you asked about dream sharing. I dont have any experience on dream sharing but i believe in it. For the homebase thing ive already made my. Its a labratorium, ive created on a visualization course i went to, with two helpers, one female and the other male. Here i can controll everything i want. The problem is that ive made this labratorium and i can go to it wasy with visualization(offcourse) but i just cant find it when inside a LD. Ive tried and tried, the nearest thing ive comed to was by coming in on the backside of it, i think. When ive found it i will make it to like a controll base that really CAN controll everything i want to. I want to test as much as i can with it. Its like this futuristic labratorium on a big pole over a flying island. This island just flows around over my dreamworld. I cant wait til im inside it!!

Dream sharing is done on the astral plane. You'd have to learn to astral project. Anyone who can astral project will most likely be able to find a place you tell them about.

I'll have to try to create something like this in a lucid, or use this house that I have re-visited in a dream several times but have never been inside. Once I can get a nice lucid "home base" I think I'll try to base most of my lucids around this "base." I will re-post on this thread once I have successfully created this place in a dream. Thank you for the idea.

I dream about about a house I got put out of in my real life. I am now getting out of it in my dreams, and walk past it, one dream I entered it and walked out right away. In my waking life I have walked past it. I once drove past it. But I would like to have this house out of my dreams totally, it has begun to fade, and I have given it a push, but I do not want to do damage, I am sure it will go in its own course.

I think there was a recent thread in Beyond Dreaming about that.. if you imagine the place in details, while you're awake, it could be a powerful way of memorising things visually - and you can later summon it in your dreams. I'm still working on that dreamplace visualisation, so I can't say anything from personal experience..

I've done this. I created my own dream space. It is a large field of blue grass, full of butterflies. Behind is a forest filled with faeries. The sky is purple and there are green mountains in the distance. (I also see a blonde girl wearing a blue dress in the distance, sometimes, even though I didn't put her there.) I would use this a place to easily visualize and enter a dream when WILDing or as just a jumping off base in my LDs.

I created it out of necessity. When I first started practicing dream control in my LD's, the whole dream would destabilize and turn into a swirling mass of colors. I would have to build each dream from scratch before continuing. Having a place I could easily create came in handy during these times. Now that my dreams are more stable and my dream goals have changed, I haven't been back in a long time.

I find as I make progression with things, this house I was put out of in reality appears less in my dream, and when it does, I am outside it.
