No, because you are in sleep paralisis. I think. If you are lucid, I highly doubt you will talk in real life.

I don't know, but it is almost never related to dreams.

I'm pretty sure that you're still able to talk in your sleep. I've heard stories of people doing it.

You are. Just not in your dreams. Did you not see the link?

Omgsh, I had the same worry when I got into LDs. I thought if I summoned a hot DC girl and was dirty talking, I would say the same things in real life. Boy, was I scared! But it is all good, man.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it. If it is possible, it is highly unlikely. It's absolutely not a reason to lucid dream.

I agree. Talking in your sleep is not a good reason to not lucid dream. just... if you keep a dream journal, maybe be careful?

Omgsh, I had been fearing the same thing for a while, but an experience a few nights ago helped me to realize this isn't possible unless you have a disorder of some sort.

I was having an LD (yay me!) and suddenly the dream started fading. Like, really fast. I started yelling things like "STABALIZE, AWARENESS, LUCIDITY!" and such, but my frantic screaming was only making it worse. After a few seconds, I noticed I wasn't yelling anymore. I was just thinking the words really loudly, as if I was screaming them. I had woken up. My parents were still sound asleep in the next room, so I know I didn't yell anything in real life.

I don't know how it happened, but it did!
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?

well im a sleep talker actually a really LOUD one,lol even worse is that i actually speak words an have conversations with people in my dreams out loud. i wish i only made noises like some people, well i dont mind it though my parents sleep downstairs an im not perverted so.... although i do think it can happen during LD's....so be careful i record myself everynight just to see what i said during the night, (started out as a science project on sleep talking @_@) one time when i had a LD one night, an woke up checked my recorder i heard a conversation i had in my LD... kinda creepy actually

Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.
I think it's in my basement... let me go upstairs and check.

I remember once, I had just watched 300, and I shouted "Spartans!!" in my sleep according to my friend.

Once when I was in girlscouts, when I was like, 8, and was sleeping in a cabin with some girls in my troop, they all said that I said "extra sharp cheddar cheese" in my dream. A long time (years) later I told my mom about it again. She says that she doubts I said it in RL, and they were just pulling my leg. I'll never know

And, obviously, I love cheddar cheese. 7 year cheddar from cheese stores rule! I live in the right place!!
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

It's definately possible, but it's not very likely to happen. I remember reading several accounts where a person was having an LD and someone overheard them speaking.

It happens in other stages of sleep, along with sleepwalking.
