      What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I have been trying to accomplish a lucid dream for about 4 days now, but so far I've only been having normal dreams, and a weird OBE of some sort.
But none the less, I have a dream journal, and I do reality checks often while at school, home, and when working in the yard, and even playing video games. I say before I go to bed repeadly, "I am going to have a lucid dream tonight". Maybe 10 times?
What am I doing wrong and can you suggest anything for me to help me with the process of this?

      Thank you,
      -Derek G.

Is that a hint of sarcasm I see there? I mean, I don't get it when some people come on here after a few days and consider themselves to be doing something wrong if they don't have an LD straight away.

Seriously though, it took me 4 months to have my first LD and another 4 months to have my next 2, but I'm always working on it, trying new techniques and mind-state awareness throughout the day.

Keep at it though and you'll have one within a few months at least I reckon, depending on how diligent you are with the process.

To be honest i was rater discouraged after two days of not having a lucid dream as friend of mine says he was about 3-4 every week with our trying. I know now he is either lying or loved by god. But i figure its not to hard to learn how to lucid dream, doing RC around the day and keeping a DJ only take 5-10 minutes out of my day but its a kick in the balls to hear stories about people that have there first LD in a couple of nights.

Just keep going at it. You'll eventually have one. In my case, I had one a week after I started practicing and when I had it, I was taking a break from WILDing, so, it's possible that when you take a break, you might have one
