      are "dreamsigns" BS???

right I'm sorry to be so iconoclastic of laberge, however this is what I think:
when we first search for dreamsigns are dreams are totally random, then slowly as we believe there are certain similarities we start thinking that they are constant dreamsigns.. so did I - but my dreamsigns change!! some are still there, some are gone, and some new ones appeared. Furthermore actually being able to recognize them in a dream is a whole different matter- you must already be conscious, conditioned or plain lucky to some extent to recognize them, however as many here will testify including myself it's possible to get lucid without em. while "they are there" in my dreams I don't recall the last time they actually helped me become lucid. I'm sure they help some people though and if they help you become lucid regularly you should not stop using them. However in my case, instead of trying to evoke "regular" dreamsigns that may or may not help, I'll focus my energies on trying to MILD my way into have "you are dreaming" written signs and stuff plastered all over my dream environment, people/voices telling me I'm dreaming, spontaneous lucidity- I think that's way more straightforward.

is this though even theoretically possible you ask? All I can say is that thus far I've had a dream while back where this is what I saw:

      (full info in DJ)

and of course instantly became lucid, so I think with some effort this should be possible. LD-ing should be easy.

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
