      Lack of motivation...

I've had trouble writing down my dreams when I wake up because Im completely out of the mood to do so. I know I should and i seem to have a dream every day but from the point I get up and on I just dont want to write all that stuff out..

Can anything help me to write it down everyday? Somthing must be done because currently im totally out of it....

i tried to keep a dream journal... i wrote about three dreams in it, and after that, i just got too lazy. it didnt really make any difference, im pretty good at remembering my dreams without a journal, and i have a lucid dream a couple times a week anyway, so i dont see the use of using a dream journal at all

      of course, thats just me
All I know is that i don't know nothing.

And I've only had ONE lucid dream since I started *sniff* not sure what im doing wrong.

If you dont want to keep a dream journal, just write notes about dreams - like 10 keywords, it will improve your recall and you may get spontaneous recall.
like 2-3 years ago my recall was 0, now i recall 3-4 dreams per night - it's too much to write about (unless the dream is extraordinary), so i take notes...

i was having troubles turning on the light, letting my eyes adjust, then writting my dreams out every night. so i invested in a black light and some red ink... works great and it's easy on the eyes. it lets you get back to the dream world fairly quick too. then you dont have to take the time to do it in the morning. -- haha i dont know how thats supposed to modivate you.... listen, i'll give you a cookie for every dream you log.
      clear eyes. strong hands.

Lately, involving a dream journal, my dreams will become much more full of information, so much detail..........kinda scary sometimes

I dont want to talk to you anymore, im afraid of what i say. Every time you come around i bite my tongue, cause blood in my mouth beats blood on the ground[/b]

I think that a dream journal is very important. I find that it helped me very much to identify the texture of dreams so that you can recognize them. If you are in the begining of your experience with lucid dreams you should keep a dream journal. Regarding fear, is one of the things you have to overcome, we all fear of the unknown but we have to deal with it and learn from it, because in this case its within us...

Thanks for the advice you all. I'll try the keyword thing for now and hopefully move on to full fledged Dream logs. mmmm... Cookies

Another good Ideal also is to just make up a quick title and write the first few events. Usually once your mind grasp something it will recollect additional information as needed no matter how small of information that you saved. You will find that you don't need to write down every detail just main pts.

That's a good idea...think I'll do that to find myself a dream sign.
