How does it feel to be in a lucid dream? and...

Im very curious about it ! Do you feel and move like when awake? or do you "think" the action?

Also, if you scream in the dream, do you actually scream in real life? do your talking/ moving actions "appear" in real life? i.e moving arms in dream causes your sleeping body to move its arms and/ talking in the dream causes your sleeping body to talk

      thanx for your help!

How it feels like when you're lucid dreaming

Well u get a lot of the normal everday feeling once u relize u are lucid dreaming and can modify what u can do. What i mean by that is if you think u can do something u can. If you believe u can do something, u can. Well for begginers i suggest only modifing what u can do, not the dream surroundings ect. its a lot like being in the matrix actually. To modify what u can do u must belive u can do it and then phisically do it. im actually quite new at lucid dreaming but can tell you what its like. the dream itself gets a great deal more real and u feel as though you've "waken up", or broken the boundry between not knowing your dreaming, and knowing your dreaming. Flying, for example, feels amazing, i've experianced feeling wind and most of all, flying to other parts of my dreams. if you've seen the Matrix Reloaded, try doing that flying thing in your dream! its amazing don't get to excited.

oh shoot damascus do not become like jin used to be

ON TOPIC: when you have a lucid dream it feels just like reality, only its not and there is no limits to what you can do... its like teh matrix and you are "the one" who can control everything...

You just need confidence, and most of the time that confidence is built up through experience. Unfortanetly, there are actually are limits to some things, but mainly little things that don't cause a problem (Like turning on a light in a room)

Then i will break that limit and prove there is no limit in a lucid dream, even if i have to reorganize my entire brain

I believe there are some limits and if you push those you could be in danger of affecting your mind in a serious way. I think you'd have to do a lot in order to do so, but it could happen. Like if you started doing something so often in a dream it might start to become commonplace and you could lose touch with reality in that respect. Now, it'd have to be fairly extreme, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

I hate it when newbies leave because they think no one is gonna reply to their post. This guy never came back to even read the first reply...

in my one and only LD so far I thought It wasn't much different from any other dream except you were aware and there's basically unlimited possibilities as to what you can do (well not right away). That's why i lost control in mine so fast and got sucked into the void (pure darkness / HI) losing lucidness. I didn't have confidence when deciding what I was going to do first and once I tried to do something I was still thinking about what else I could do.

Once I first realized I was having my first LD I just looked around for a while and notice little vortex swirls in the air/on the walls. It looked really surreal and kicked ass.
