Hello Reinards, |
|
I was thinking if someone of you have tried speaking to the characters in your dreams in a language that is not your native.. |

Hello Reinards, |
|
I've done this before. I've spoken, read, wrote and understood different Languages in my dreams in both lucid and non-lucid dreams. I don't have to be lucid to experience it, either. Even most recently, for an example, I ended up using sign language in a dream because I was deaf and mute to a DC. He just mocked me. There are other times where I have had a conversation with a DC in total gibberish. |

With Dreaming you need to start small and work hard grow your lucid dreaming lifestyle...
I'm not just a lucid dream, I'm a Somnonauts!!
“It’s... your conscience. We don’t talk a lot these days.”
It's funny because an add on this page for me was to learn sign language. |

That's so cool! But yeah, I have composed/heard beatiful pieces of music in lucids (mostly without vocalist, but now that I remember I have created music with English vocalists, which is not my native language), so I can definitely see myself perfectly pronouncing English in my dreams, something that I still can't quite do in waking life haha |

That would be interesting if we could learn a foreign language when dreaming |

I think you would understand exactly what people in your dreams say regardless of language, because it is your own brain causing them to speak, so you already know what they're saying. So you may think "hey, you're going to speak to me in Arabic." Then they just spout gibberish that sounds like Arabic, and you know what they mean. If they mean anything, that is. |

The problem with quotes on the internet is that you can never be sure if they are genuine. -- Deuteronomy 22:8
I remember talking to dcs in both Persian n English n it was fun. I even did a reality check of reading something twice n it was in English. The word was immortal n the next time it changed to dmortol. It may look weird but before learning to lucid dream I kept studying English n solved my problems. |
