      Post New Boy LD'ing

I'm going to try and start LD'ing. But what I want to know is what technique do you suggest for a beginner?

Well yes, that's true. Everyone should keep a dream journal, but it's not really a technique.

Find what works best for you, OP. I would suggest DILD, as most newer members seem to have luck with it.

But isn't there all the different types such as WILD or something? Sorry I'm new with all of this.

hi! visit the tutorial section and read up on MILD and WILD, also research the acronyms.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

i think shift covered just about everything but lets see for a beginner i would suggest reading those articles and experiement with each to see which best works for you. DILD is most common.

what i would recommend for anyone would definetly involve wake back to bed (wbtb) because its suppose to increase your chances by 60% (not sure how accurate that stat is) and it definetly helps me. it also works best for just about any technique.

it just involves waking up for about 30mins and doing anything that sets your mind to lucid dreaming like browsing our forums, writing/reading entrees in your journal, and most importantly reality checking.

Keep in mind you don't necessarily have to follow tutorials or guides exactly as you read them. Each dreamer has their own ways of doing things, so you should see what works for you the best.
Success comes to those who are not afraid of failing.
