go the the totorial section and look up dreamsigns and MILD and DILD tutorials
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

Mostly you have to make a habit out of doing RCs. If you recognize some of your dream signs (like one dream sign is the crane game) then whenever you see a crane game in real life you do a reality check. When you get in the bait and do it in a dream, then hopefully you wouldn't ignore the fact that you watch is playing a game of tetris instead of showing you the time. As for me, my dreams can be as weird as hell and I'm still oblivious. Good luck and good question ^__^

It's a mental training. Once you become accustomed to the idea of questioning reality in waking life, you will begin questioning reality in your dreams as well. A reality check is a resolution of your doubts. The doubts, the questionings, are more important than the reality check itself, I'd say.
