The last time I LD'd was the only time I really allowed myself to explore, and it was pretty amazing. And yeah, I remember opening my dream eyes and getting a glimpse of my room. I'm still kind of getting used to the idea of being able to control my dreams. It just seems so crazy. Like a self-induced hallucination.

I guess I just gotta stay positive in my dreams, which shouldn't be too hard. Thanks.

I would never want to wake myself up from a lucid, unless it turned into a lucid nightmare. Even then, I would just try to turn it around.

What you have experienced is called a false awakening. They used to scare me too. Do a Reality Check every time you wake up, and you will know if you are dreaming or actually awake. Especially because I would experience sleep paralysis in my lucid dream after a false awakening. It is a lot like a hallucination. But, what is great about lucid dreaming is that there are no negative side effects, and your actions in a dream have no consequences. haha.

I'd like to hear more details of this dream.
