I mean, this person probably dreams just as much as those who rarely sit at their computer, but aren't these dreams weaker? I remember dreaming about being on a forum once |

So i've been thinking about this: If someone sits infront of the computer much, he sees much less of the real world. Since dreams are usually memories of the past, there aren't enough memories for the brain to produce vivid dreams and it is harder to LD. Do you think what i say can be true? It's kinda logical imo. |

Check this out, I'm huge into youtube. My buddy told me to check our youtube in my dream if I ever became lucid. So I'm in my dream apartment that was totally made up of different friends houses of mine. I get into the bedroom and imagine a computer would be inside when I opened. Surly enough there was a double bed, a clock (for RCing) and a computer. I went on the computer and thte computer made no sense!!! it was just a bunch of number on a blue background I was like Oh noooooo, the internet doesn't work in my dream lol. So I flew away and explored the dreamworld some more. It was still a lot of fun though. |

Its a very good point, but I think they will dream about what they saw on the internet rather than sitting at a computer itself. |

What actually can affect your vividity in your dreams is, when you sit at your computer too much, you just keep receiving nice little images, instead of using your imagination. This can degrade your ability to make clear pictures. Therefore I advise you to take some time to use your imagination too, like drawing art, or just creating a nice little story in your head before sleep every night |

I'm on the computer a lot, and I get lots of vivid dreams. |

I sit at the computer a lot and I often have very vivid dreams. It's not unusual for me to dream about computer game worlds, though, but then I am inside the world, and not seening it on a computer screen. When I was younger I used to be able to get out of nightmares by pressing escape to get to the main menu and quit the game to wake up or start another dream, which was very handy. |

Build a system that even a fool can use and only a fool will want to use it.
If you don't see much the exterior world, your brain will probably create his own world, which is much more iteresting for my though =) |

The greater your Shadow becomes~~

depends on the use. I think playing video games will actually increase vividness/lucidity, tv will decrease it that's for sure, and as for the internet it's up for debate- browsing DV is definitely a good thing |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
10-15min LD [ X] Article: A day in the life of an LD-er
the "Mind V.S. Body" Induction technique
Everyman 2 LD's/ sleep schedule progress
I agree with you. I don't do this anymore, But on some days I would play a computer game for several hours. Then I go to sleep and dream about the stupid computer game. That's really low for me, to dream about being on the computer. |

Today I was outside in my front yard collecting pine cones (for Halloween projects) and I also found a dead bird skeleton that I examined. I was also out of the house much of the day on errands. I don't think I have a problem with being on the computer too much. We'll see how vivid my dreams are tonight (especially after that whole dead bird thing... it's actually really cool). |

DILDs: A Lot
It's also annoying that i usually dream about my school or classmates. Then i wake up and have to go there again, it's just even more boring.. |

I had an epic dream last night about oblivion. In fact, it was the most realistic dream i can remember, so i dont think you are right. In a sense, i would think it would help because of abstract ideas, and reading stories. |
