Normally, before I go to bed, I do a bit of exercise. I do around 15 press-ups and 40 sit-ups, just to get a bit of muscle on me |

actually i think it might help you achive a WILD easier. if you work out before bed, by the time you wake up for a wbtb to start your WILD, your muscles should be way worn out and it should be much easier to relax. My sleep right after i work out is so much sounder. |

I agree with FreeOne, your workout should allow for much deeper relaxation while you sleep. During a workout/lifting session, your muscles are very slightly damaged/cut/torn. The healing is what makes larger/stronger muscles. While the muscles are healing (soreness), the muscles are easily relaxed and create that feeling of full body exhaustion. After a WBTB (wake back to bed) you should be very much ready to attempt your WILD. Good Luck in your future efforts! |

I can't work out right before bed because I find I am all pumped up (no pun intended) afterwards. I get a real high from exercise (like I think most people do) and I don't seem to come down from it very quickly. That being said, if you can fall asleep right after working out, I agree with the others -- it seems like it would be easier to relax. Do you do any stretching when you're done? That might help, too. |

Yeah, I think I remember reading somewhere (actually a lot of somewheres) that working out before bed tends to make it much harder to sleep. Your muscles would be more tired, but they may also be more prone to soreness or cramping. Besides, you still need at least four hours of sleep under your belt before a WILD attempt. Any way you could work out a couple of hours before bed, instead? Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. |
