      Sleep paralysis HI

so the only time i ever got into sleep paralysis i was seeing some pretty gnarly HI, and then all of the sudden i heard like a chain saw sound in my room. it was intense, and jerked me out of sleep paralysis.

anybody else ever hear something crazy during SP or just regular HI?

Oh yeah, SP can be brutal sometimes, lol. I have heard women screaming, the sound of metal shredding in my ear, angry voices, demon shrieks, etc. I have even had hallucinations where someone was kicking me in the ribs (it actually hurt a little), someone trying to push me out of bed, someone come lay beside me, and someone tickling my feet. It gets intense sometimes. You just have to keep thinking in your head, "Its not real, its just a hallucination," and stay as calm, cool, and collected as possible. It gets easier with experience. Even now sometimes I don't attempt to WILD if I'm not feeling up to the scare factor. I scare fairly easily

yeah. I'll hear music, then I'd knock myself out of sleep paralysis, and the sound wasn't there anymore. It helps that I have a radio alarm clock right beside me.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Well, I didn't hear it, but I felt a surge of pain come over my body. I didn't know I was in SP so I got up and shook it off.

      If only I knew...

I just ignored it as best I could, and acted as if it didn't happen. I stayed calm, reminded myself that it was a hallucination, and carried on with the transition. You just have to train yourself to keep your cool during some of the more intense SP trips.

About 80% of the time (for me anyway), the transition is smooth and the hallucinations are pleasant and non-threatening. The other 20% are the freaky, more intense transitions, but most of the time it isn't that crazy.

Good god! This is what keeps me from doing WILDs, there is no way I could handle that shit. I mean, if there was some way for me to take a nap and then wild in the middle of the day then hell yeah, bring that shit on. But the second the sun goes down I will be shivering under my covers in the fetal postition, "it's not real... it's not real... it's not real..."

The first time I had SP, I was lying on my back.

I first felt a presence enter the bedroom, then felt something climb onto the bed. Then I "saw" a demon climbed onto my chest, felt it's weight compress my lungs. Then it wrapped it's hands about my neck and started choking me. I couldn't breathe.

I struggled so violently, I managed to wake my body up, then ran outside into the street, looking for help. Thank god there was nobody around at the time, otherwise they'd think I was crazy.

The second time it happened, I saw a hag slowly approach me, claws outstretched. Scared the hell out of me, but thanks to the first incident, I at least tried to remain calm, which helped only slightly. I still struggled awake in terror.

These are the only 2 SP I've ever experienced, and each time I was seriously sleep deprived ie. awake for 24+ hours.

damn that just sounds horrible the more i read these things the more I recognize. I am trying a WILD for 2 days now but I think im going to let it rest for a while and train MILDs because it freaks me out. I dont know if I was sleeping or dreaming but I was watching someone enter my room while I was lying in my bed not able to move. Maybe I should watch more horror movies or will that make the SP more creepy

      Napping

Napping doesn't always help. I know I often times experience SP while I;m napping. The hallucinations are just a scary then too.
