      Problems with SP

I have been following King Yoshis guide for the last two days. Its getting better. I still can't accomplish SP though (I don't think). I seem to get to a particular stage then just stall.
Once I am in bed I will start to feel heavy and numb at one point. Yesterday I got this tingling in my leg that traveled up slowly from my foot and stopped at my thigh. I will also get this weird feeling, a bit like when someone puts their finger just before your nose and you get that uncomfortable numb tickling feel, except its really strong. Last night I felt it on my ear, and the day before on my head. After that nothing happens. I don't see or hear much. Occasionally I will see a scene or someone vividly, but it'll go really fast and that will be all. I never seem to transition from that point. I often end up just falling asleep because I get tired of sitting in bed for 2 hours. Thing is, LD isn not new to me. I have been doing it randomly for years thinking it was just a case of luck when you fall into one.

      Tips or advice?

Don't forget that you are SUPPOSE to fall asleep. That is the whole idea with WILDing. You may be focusing too much, or trying too hard. You want to allow your body to fall asleep, but you want to be consciously aware of it. Once you get these vibrations you speak of, relax your entire body, every single muscle. Then watch the darkness, feel the vibrations, and listen to the sounds as you allow yourself to fall asleep. Don't focus too much attention, just focus enough that you stay aware of what you are trying to do. Good Luck!

Thank you for the response. I will try to be more relaxed tonight.

I think I've read a few times that it's possible to get too hung up on waiting for SP. Many guides (BillyBob is one I recall) said your focus should be on getting your body to relax as much as possible, not "To wait for SP" or "Wait for HH" or even "To achieve a WILD".
