      phsycadelics in dreamworld.

Has anyone ever taken psychedelics in their dreams, and if so do they work?
If you haven't give it a try cause I read a post that said they did.
They said they put a bunch of ingredients into a big pot and reached in and pulled out some dream LSD and they said it worked. Worth a try? Ideas?

My problem with that kind of thing is you lose control using these sort of things, in a dream our out. In a lucid dream where the whole point is maintaining control, I don't see how it would work that well.

Iīve smoked cannabis in a non-lucid dream and it felt exactly like in real life. As soon as I shifted my attention to something else the "effect" of the drug disappeared though. Pretty cool though. If your brain can replicate the effect in your dreams, what says you canīt make your brain replicate it while youīre awake too?

I guess that you mustīve tried the drug in real life for it to work in your dreams, because otherwise you canīt possibly know how it feels.

I have smoked weed in a non-lucid too, it tasted the same but without any effect.

I believe there is already a thread regarding this.

I have never taken psychadelics, per se, but I have taken several other drugs in dreams, and they had a psychadelic kind of effect.

I have taken LSD in a dream and the visuals were more intense than my experiences IRL.

For me dream LSD was pretty much identical to Rl LSD.

Oddly smoking pot doesn't do anything for me in my dreams, other than satisfy my bad habbits.

i had a dream (lucid) where i was taken to meet with an old medicine woman who traveled around in a winnebago because if she stayed in one place, she would be "caught". she was going to help me with my dreaming. when i got to her, she pressed the bridge of my nose, right between my eyes.
i began to see colors everywhere... swirling like lights. i was afraid that i had been dosed and i asked the friend who escorted me to the old woman if she thought i had been drugged. she said that indeed i had, but that the drug was special, for use only in dreaming - and that it would be mild. i was annoyed because i didn't want to lose the control of the dream.
then, all of that annoyance and anxiety went away.... all thoughts, worries, .... i became amazingly light.
the dream-drug showed me how to empty my dreaming body and lose the heaviness i normally have. it was great - like a really soft trip - plus a great dreaming lesson.

So maybe loosing control and having a good time tripping isnt such a bad thing in a dream.

it isnt really a drug per say but ive done dip in a dream and it was basically exactly the same as IRL, kind of an interesting effect was i got a buzz off it, which hasnt happened in real life for years.

interestlingly enough when i stopped thinking about it for a few minutes it just kinda dissapeared from my lip, which was the reason i became lucid in the dream coincidentally enough
