how much do you write in your DJ?

i was just wondering... i usually just write a couple of lines per dream. i can, if i want to, write much much more but usually i dont have the time/will to do it. does writing everything in exact detail help that much to your recall? how much do you write?

Usualy bullet points on the stranger parts of the dream and key things otherwise I end up writing an essay. I always write everything i can remeber about my actual lucid dreams.

As of yet, being new the the whole concept, I haven't really had a chance to start one. Of course I plan too but I'm a little uncertain what to write...

"Last night I dreamt about a duck. It was blue.....?" Just one lame example.

Sometimes half of the A4 paper, and sometimes two lines. Everytime different. Sometimes i don't write anything I just go back to sleep and miss my chance of having a LD

When I take the time to write in my dreamjournal, which is only when I don't have to do anything in the morning, I write between half a page and a page per dream. I could easily go to two or three pages per dream, but at 10 minutes per page, I dont have the time. If I have more than two dreams, I usually take quick notes in bullet form on them, which is enough to jog my memory a bit. I would probably write more, and more frequently, if I kept a DJ on my computer, but since its halfway across the house from my bedroom, that isn't as convenient as my notebook.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

I pratically never write in my DJ so...my recall sucks. Can't remember the dream from last night.

I try to put as much as i can, if i don't want to put a lot in, then it doesn't matter a lot, my mind would probably remember the details.

I usually do two paragraphs of strictly plot-info. Sometimes I draw a diagram of where I was, or write how I felt during the dream.

it's been over a month for me.

when i was writing regularly, the length of the entry depended on how vivid and unusual the dream was, but generally a paragraph or two.

I just write down what happened, who I did it with, and anything that might be important and where it was.

Lately about a page to a page and a half. I do it in a bullet-list, though, rather than in paragraph form. I'm a writer so writing in paragraph form would just about kill me to have it all make no sense When my recall was really good, though, I'd write up to 4 or 5 pages (2 - 2.5 front/back pages).
