I forced myself awake when I was being attacked by a giant disembodied hand. It's in my dream journal if you're interested. |

Yes, I did every time I naturally LDed as a kid (which was just a few times). |

DILDs: A Lot
Yes i have to. I closed my eyes and clenched my fist and wanted out of the dream and it worked. |
Yes. Once or twice. Non-lucid. |
I did it twice when I was very young and couldn't think of anything fun to do in my LDs (What was I thinking?!) |
A few times. All non-lucids. It was strange because I would always say "Oh right. This is a dream. I can wake up!" and then I would wake up right after. |
well I don't know why, but any time I try this I'm actually forced into a FA which I typically then spin in so as to change the scenery. But I can wake myself when my dream is strongly connected to my real surroundings. I.e: napping in front of the tv. That one was actually funny though because I remembered the episode despite sleeping through it. |

Same here. I was an excellent lucid dreamer as a kid (shame I never knew what they were or what I was doing) and whenever I was about to be pushed down the stairs by my brother (a recurring dream/nightmare I used to have) I could instantly control it and stop him from pushing me down and throw him down the stairs instead |
