How Conscious are you during your LD??

What's up guys? I'm curious how consciously aware you become that you are in the dream. But first I should tell you what's happening. I goto sleep and start to lucid dream, or realize I'm dreaming at some point, and it's like I'm almost going to wake up in bed. I am so conscious that I'm sleeping in my bed that I can hardly imagine how real it would feel to be face to face with someone at that point. What usually happens is that I have a false awakening and realize that it's a dream. I then go outside through my window, because it's too difficult to walk to the front door. My window is next to the bed, so I slide it open and go out there, it's 95% of the time night time. No one is ever there. Because in reality everyone is asleep and no one is around. So I told myself next time I have a LD I will consciously try to have a conversation with someone. So I went outside and jumped up into an apartment building looking for someone. And I am so consious that I'm just trying to not wake up I'm so lucid. I just think to myself that it would be soooo real to see someone right now. Then I found someone but they were like a statue. It freaked me out like a horror movie and I ran and jumped out the window, and soon after woke up. Does anyone else get so lucid that they can't imagine actually talking to someone?? I mean I've had lucid dreams with people in them. But never really just sat there and was able to think about it thoroughly. Anyways, thanks for reading if you got this far.

Jason...my LD conscious level can be extremely real. I can choose to stand there in my dream world and think about my next move. I typically start with LD reinforcement by spinning or just feeling the ground.
I have the ability to predict how much LD time that I will have, if the feeling is weak I will spin again to extend my dream time. I can also sense how deeply that I am sleeping.
I have had LD experiences where I'm so deeply imbeded into my dream world, that it is very similar to the normal awake world. The difference being that I am acutely aware that I'm in dreamland, and now I am free to pursue any of my many LD goals. Time seems very normal at that point.
I will perform several LD exercises...fly, walk, levitate objects, touch and handle solid objects, look for something to read, initiate conversation with DC's, alter my surroundings.
One technique that I use for extending my LD time, is to simply relax, avoid getting excited and trying to do everything at once. From that point on, I am free to explore my LD world and have fun with anything that I wish to do.
Read my dream journal, I've had many lengthy and complex LD's, many were so real that I forgot that I was dreaming and not in the 'normal' world.
      got nitro?
