An Interesting Idea I found to become lucid! Will this work?

Ok so I saw that if you sprinkle water on the dreamers face then they might dream about rain or some kind of water thing. Or if you put perfume in their face they might dream about a ball or heavy scents or something. So what if you expected yourself to dream about water and you sprinkle the water on your face and then you become lucid by recognizing its raining or something. Would this work? Also any other suggestions other then perfume and water?

Also any other suggestions other then perfume and water? Putting it on before falling asleep? Well, i just know my mom won't let me pour water on my face before going to bed for lucid dreams sake. She'll stop me from LDing by taking away my journal and wake me up harshly so I can't remember anything... lol! (She thinks LDs are for crazy people) It might work though. Someone that doesn't care being wet during their sleep should try.

grow a mustache and use vick's vap-o-rub. If the stache is big enough it may take the scent 4-6 hours to reach your nostrils.

i use water to get lucid, but not in the literal sense. i have many dreams involving a body of water and i reinforce them and associate them with lucidity. maybe drink a lot of water before bed lol.

Maybe you could attach something to your face? Maybe attach some celetape covered in perfume to the tip of your nose? Sounds crazy but you never know.
