Exclamation seeing things when i close my eyes... not sleeping yet...

please tell me what is this experience called.. and whenever i wake up i dont feel fresh.. it feels like i was doing some work all night... i m having dreams all night and the worst part is that i remember em it all started happening 1 and a half month ago when i tried WILD and messed my self up... now my left eye is heavy there is a slight sensation in my forehead and very strange feeling in my left leg..i was feeling numb as well for few days but some medication fixed that up for me.. now i m on anti anxiety tablets and some others.. now when ever i close my eyes it feels like i ve opened them in another dimension or in a very dark but very long and wide lounge or room.. and at night when i close my eyes for sleeping i start seeing things like colors or some not very clear faces and an EYE specially.. so i just wanted to ask that should i tell this to my doctor or it is something not to worry about.. i have searched internet and all i found is some stuff on Kundalani energy or chakras or qi or chi or whatever... some eople even say i have opened my third eye or something like that... but these things take months and years to develop whereas i developed em in just 15 minutes laying on my back with my hands behind my head and concentrating on my breath for getting WILD..

enlighten me please.. i m worried..

The images you see when falling asleep sound like HI. This is normal and it happens every night to everyone, but you usually don't notice it since you are usually asleep by the time that it happens. Probably since your WILD you started seeing HI more often. As for the random pains and numbness, I don't think its anything that was caused by your WILD. I would see your doctor about those problems.

But in the end, it's all up to you. It's your body.

Ok, first off...it's not anything needing some eastern-religion-like 'enlightenment'! Don't listen to anyone who tells you you're getting in touch with some hindu god...for one thing that's wrong, but for another thing, it's waaaaay over-reacting.

I had a similar experience with my first WILD. It seemed pretty serious to me at first too, but I ended up getting over it after a few days by just facing my fear of WILDing. I saw that eye as well, a lot of times when I wasn't even asleep, and it scared me at first, but then I started to just stare back at it and eventually it didn't bother me to have it there. I also didn't try to lucid dream again for a couple days and just catch up on lost sleep, because even when I was sleeping, it wasn't deep enough to make me recover. I plugged in headphones for a couple nights and left a light on to keep my mind distracted and unafraid, and pretty soon I was back to sleeping like normal and I could conquer my WILD fear on more reasonable terms. I never went to a doctor or anything, but like Conzo said, that part is your choice.

Last of all, the most important thing I did was pray to Jesus Christ for peace and comfort. If you want to say something about my beliefs, send me a PM; don't do it in this thread, as this is not the place for a discussion like that and I will not respond to you here. I'm just saying that this is the #1 thing that solved the physical side effects and the mental fear for me.

      Hope this helps ya!

seeing colors and shit in your closed eyelids is called hypnogogic imagery, it happens to everybody as we fall asleep, so you dont need to waste a trip to the doctor over something thats natural. as for remembering all your dreams, congratulations, thats what many of us here strive to do so that we can remember our lucid dreams. many of us use a dream journal to increase our dream recall but if its natural for you then thats pretty awesome.

I'd say your first WILD attempt feaked you out, causing a chain of events...we all have hallucinations every night, wether we remember them or not. I've also had that strange sensation on my head, sometimes like a pressure in the middle of my forhead, when attempting WILD.

You're fear of your first night probably led to the next days of it, because expectation usually leads to what your expecting, and caused all your anxiety. The first night I tried WILD (actually, to tell the truth, unintentionally), I refused to sleep without the light on, because I was so terrified of my hallucinations. I slipped in and out of sleep the entire night (though I never intended on falling asleep again in the first place).

If you calm down your fear of WILDing, then this could become a great oppurtunity for inducing LDs. Yeah, I know, easier said then done

Well, this ought to be expected, since you seem to be fighting against entering Sleep Paralysis. It comes over you every night when you enter certain stages of sleep, but now that you've actually felt it and are fighting against it, you probably are subconsciously waking yourself up whenever you feel the onset of SP.
