      It will be extraordinary!!!

edit: my bad there's a thread already up about it http://dreamviews.com/community/show...ghlight=avatar

i just saw it tonight. i was blown away by the visuals of Pandora. the world was beautiful. honestly, i keep thinking that if that world was real, i would go in a second. that would be amazing to be a part of that living planet. i would love to lucid about that place, and the natives. i highly suggest that everyone goes and sees it...Oneironauts are the best demographic for this film.

With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

I saw it today, it was pretty cool. I don't want to give away the story, but the graphics where quite awesome.

      Spoiler for CONTAINS STORY INFO:

It is a very awesome and moving movie though. I would recommend anyone to see it as well. I (personally) think it was inspired by LDs or dreams of some sort.

No. It was the best movie I've ever seen as well. I agree with the previous post that said it was very similar to ferngully, but they did it in a much more believable, and effective way. Everything about the movie was amazing; the dialogue, the visuals, the design, the philosophical elements, the message, etc.

haha yep. I started the thread with the intentions of discussing their ideas for bringing the movie ideas into their lucid dreams. I really want to ride one of those dragon bird things around the floating rocks and mist. That's first on my list

But yeah definitely one of the best movies I've seen. The story wasn't really that great, but it was SOLID. I wasn't really watching the movie for the story anyway. I was watching to explore and learn about this world. Pandora was extremely deep and fully realized which made this movie so good. You don't see that very often. The visuals were outstanding. I found this very strange: watching the previews of upcoming garbage (Piranhas 3D), my eyes started hurting from the 3D stuff. I was really worried after the 3 hours of Avatar that I'd have a splitting headache. I was so wrong. The movie used 3D in a way I've never seen, where it's not used as a gimmick but just as a tool to make everything seem more real. When an amazing movie with an amazing story comes out with this technique, it will completely define the future of film. As for Avatar, it's kind of a tech demo for this 3D technique (albeit a $50 million tech demo haha).

yeah, despite similarities, it was an awesome movie. I actually felt sad when people died, like i really knew them, and happy when something good happened. it is very absorbing and beautiful. 5/5 for me. I will def buy it when it comes out on DVD

I wish we would establish the structure of society, rules for social behavior, and the ceremonies performed in order to ensure continuity of life and land here.
Visiting Pandora in a lucid dream would be cool/
The floating islands were my favorite.

I saw Avatar yesterday in 3D and loved it. I always like watching a good movie and thinking of how it could be incorporated into a lucid dream. I do the same thing for books too.
I would love riding one of those bird-mount-things with a bow and arrow shooting bad guys.

Lawl, while I was lucid I tried to spawn one of these people last night!
But it didn't work, so instead I made one washup along the beach but she got buried in the sand and drowned. It was't pleasent. I also got attacked by a lobster.
Its called "On The Island" in my DJ. Read if you wish.

"How big is it," he asked. I was too busy get pulled into the water by the lobster. Its large claws were digging into my legs, and I gotta tell you. It hurt.
"Huge! Massive," I shouted, while kicking the lobster and clambering up out of the ocean and onto the beach. By now the lobster had decided to follow me along the beach. It tripped me up and proceeded to claw me, focusing on damaging my legs for some reason.

I just saw it and it was amazing. I have decided that the next time I get lucid, I will be heading to Pandora.

I've seen it, and it is one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Avatar would be an AWESOME Lucid Dream Adventure.
Just imagine being able to do everything he did in the
movie, but in a Lucid Dream. It would be one EPIC LD.

I've had three LDs since seeing it and I've met Neytiri and Jake. =D It was definitely awesomesauce.

I have to say, it was the best movie I have seen. Immediately, after the showing, I was thinking of ways I could reproduce the movie in my dreams.

I am not too fussed about becoming an alien. What I want to do the most is ride one of them dragon like creatures! Especially the red vibrant one.

Anyone has any ideas on how to summon such a thing? I don't even think my mind could comprehend such a thing!
