      Is This Progress? Or Fluke?

      Hey guys,
I have never had a LD yet but, last night I had a barage of dreams(recalls getting very good) and one of them I was very high up on this bluffy cliff like thing over looking a valley in a sort of desert setting, I felt I was trying evade people down in this valley.
As I was sitting kind of peering over I notice the ground started to erode under me and I felt the point when I knew I was going to fall. I turned around to try and hold on but I couldnt and started to plummit, on my way to the bottom I somehow clued in and told myself "This is a dream! Wake up!!!!!" and I did...upon waking my first thought was....ahhhhhh i shouldnt have woken up!!!!

Now was that the makings of a Lucid Dream? I had done that once for twice before way back when I was a child and I was having a nightmare so Im really not sure.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

      Cheers

Yeah, you got lucid. Most people usually wake themselves up during a first lucid dream anyway.

Well, if you realized you were dreaming during the dream, you were lucid, just that it was short because you first thought about waking up.
