      False awakenings? What?. Please read!.

      Hey everyone!.

So, I've known about Lucid dreaming for about 3 months now, I think.. I have had 3 lucid dreams and sadly, not having any at the moment but thats alright, in time I'll have lucid dreams but theirs something thats bothering me and it's only started happening for a week now and I don't know why this happens.

So, every morning when I wake up for work I write down my dreams but EVERY single morning, for a week straight!. I've 'woken up - I am still dreaming' but think I'm awake, I think I grab my phone and write down my dream and it's always the same, it's kinda hard to explain but I never see myself in the dream. I always see my bed or a just see a black space and I never see my phone but I just know I'm writing my dream down in the phone though I can't feel my fingers on the phone pad.

Then sometimes I just wake up to my alarm going or I realize that this is a dream and I'm not actually writting down my dream and then I wake up. It annoys me because this seems to make it harder for me to remember my dreams for some odd reason.

Those false awakenings are tricksy... Lots of people "wake up" in the night and write down their dreams, then don't bother trying to remember them because they've got them written down. Then when they get up in the morning and check their notepad, it's empty! The only remedy I can suggest is reality-checking every single time you think you've woken up. You should catch it one of these times and become lucid.

That always happens to me. I guess the answer is to reality check everytime before you write in your dream journal.

I get so angry when I get a whole wall of text, only to find out it was all just a dream. lol
