Shaking Room upon awakening from dream

This has happened to me various occasions over the past four years and just again happened last night. I usually awake from a dream in which I am very dizzy for some manifested reason and then awake to feel my head spinning and the room shaking back and forth very fast. If i focus really hard sometimes i can control it, but for the most part i just have to wait it out and it can be very scarry.

It usually has happened in the past on nights im up very late studying and looking at a computer screen. This makes sense as i am tired and my brain is stimulated. However last night I went to bed very early, which makes me begin to suspect it is a product of the dreams themselves.

Last night, one part of my dream was I got a text I did not want my brother to see, he kept trying to grab the phone from me and i just kept outstretched in my opposite arm keeping my body between him and the phone. In trying to get it we kept spinning around, making me dizzy. It was at this point i woke up to the room shaking. Other dreams have included me just being very drunk as a reason for my dizziness.

Has anyone experience this before or have any insight as to what may cause it?

Yep yep, I think it's just a byproduct of sleep paralysis upon waking up. I've woken to my bed bouncing up and down or the room spinning, etc. This is hypnopompic hallucinations...which is just like hypnogogic but happens upon waking rather than going to sleep.
