      Odd Dream Recall?

      Hi everyone
      I have been keeping a dream journal for a while, but when i wake up, either in the middle of the night, or in the morning to write them down, i only remember snippets or single images, and through out the day, i continue to remember these snippets and i write them down. I used to remember clear sequences of events and virtual "movies" in my head of the dreams from that night.
      Is this normal or just a recall dry spell?

      I think it's completely normal. I'll only remember a few fragments when I wake up, but when I do certain things throughout the day, it will trigger me to remember full entire "movies" of my dream, as you said.
      So, no, I don't think it's a dry spell, because at least you're remembering something in the morning, and even more throughout the day!

      But, maybe you should work a little bit more on your recall, now, and maybe you'll remember full dreams in the morning, as you have been.
