Is A.D.D. medication bad for dreams?

I'm thinking about getting a prescription to adderal in A.d.d medication if u use THis drug or have any information leading to whether this is good or not for dreaming please comment. Thank u! Ps. When I say dreaming I also mean recall lucids or if it will damper with anything like that

I used to be prescribed adderall (4 amphetamine salts) and focalin (dextromethylphenidate). I seemed to forget my dreams a little more or everything was about the same. However, if I ever took breaks, on the second day of the break I would have extremely vivid dreams, although the content was overwhelming negative every time, and many times the dreams were very incoherent and confusing. All in all, after you get used enough to the medication you should dream and sleep relatively normally. If you do get prescribed, unless you have my reaction to focalin (makes me sleepy, though adderall made me wide awake), you'll probably have a lot of difficulty getting to sleep for the first month or so.
