Have you ever experienced this annoyance?

So here I am trying to get back into lucid dreaming after a year of focussing on other things. I'm sharpening my dream recall by writing dutifully in my journal and try for a lucid dream. What do I get? A non lucid dream featuring me hiding under a table teaching my sister how to....lucid dream. When I woke up I wanted to slap myself!

lol that sucks so bad. I've had some crazy things happen like doing RCs and ignoring them and actually driving a mustang (a dreamsign) and not noticing.

Yeah. It happens. Usually means you are pretty close.

I like to reality check every time I think about dreams. Every time I hear something on TV, music, billboards, or whatever and let me tell you...

I never realized how pervasive dream related information is.

But next time you are talking about dreams in a dream you will reality check and there ya go.

lol Driving a mustang sounds like fun. But it must be more irritating to do RC's and then totally ignore the results. I would be so mad when I woke up!

And Requiem that sounds like a good idea I'm going to need to be more adamant about doing RC's several times during the day when anything dream related comes my way.
