      Can't NOT think about it.

Every time I've tried to WILD, I started to think about bad crap happening, freaked out, and stopped. I know everyone says, "Just remind yourself it's a dream," and "Don't think about it," but I can't NOT think negatively.

Teleport to a happy place! Make a DC friend, then maybe your worries will melt away! It's worth a shot.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

      Short story series about LD'ing:

Blah. I might just run away.

My main problem is thinking bad things. No matter what happens, a bad thought creeps in. Now, this isn't so bad at first, but that one doubt starts feeding lots and lots of other doubts, and eventually either something bad actually happens or I just worry something bad will happen enough that I FA or just plain old wake up.

What exactly are you worried about? If you're scared of the hallucinations, I was comforted in this thread. Apparently it's not too bad. If you're worried about dreams, do what lucidreamsavy said and teleport to a happy place.
I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

It's the dreams themselves. Any techniques for manning up and not being scared of stupid stuff like this? :<

It's important to comprehend that you will be in complete control. I know you've pro'lly heard this many times, but it's true. You have to get yourself to understand that this is your mind, and you have complete control of what will happen. Know that if you get scared of something, you can use the Force to launch it into space or wield fire to burn it to death. Just repeat, "I am in control of my dreams" until you genuinely believe it.
