      Rawrrr where"s meh ld???!!!

Anyways last night ... I had an LD. Can I even call it that? While in the middle of the dream for some reason I realized I'm dreaming... and as usual this is accompanied by a feeling related to my head that I can't quite describe... I know that I'm dreaming but it feels as if I'm awake laying there in my bed knowing that I am dreaming but that I'm not actually experiencing my dream and that my dream is actually a train of thought in my head and that I am not really IN the dream, when i say IN I ment through the senses, sight, smell, touch, hearing, and taste.... This has happened a few time I don't really feel Like I'm awake but It's making me feel so... is this some sort of black box fail safe lol? Doesnt usually happen in all of my LDs but they do on a failing one. I've had this a few time and everytime I'm not even sure that I'm awake but it gives me the notion that I am dreaming.... I KNOW THAT I AM DREAMING... I'm LUCID. but I can't do LUCID stuff since I'm not actually in a dream..... I hope you experienced this and understand where I'm taking it... So what do you think about this?

This won't catch me tonight... I'm armed with the phail buster.

I think so. Once, I was dreaming about an 8 bit video game. I KNEW I was dreaming but at the same time I could feel my body lying in my bed. I was face down so my breathing was a bit muffled..

yeah I realize that I am dreaming I feel my body... I get the notion that I AM AWAKE.... but I don't necessarily see through my eye, it's just weird..... like Hypnagogic Imagery. I know I'm dreaming but it feels awake and I can't do lucid stuff.... cuz im not in the dream sort of thing.

That just means you are half connected with your waking world. Half asleep, not fully asleep - so you can feel your body and the dream becomes more of a vivid image than a full 3d sensory environment.

This happens to me in the early morning hours when I am not as tired. Perhaps do a WBTB after 4 or 5 hours of sleep and focus on having a lucid dream when you are still very sleepy. This way the dream will not be interrupted by sensations from the waking world.

Usually happens in the middle of the night, anyways i need to get my game back on Right now im gonna wake up at 4-6 hours after asleep usually 4am and WBTB, wild is 2nd priority ever since Ive been trying tio wild i have gotten less LD and my usual 3 a week is going WAAAY off while I know there are other factors.. and as of now my aware mode isnt even on... but still Im working on getting LD back up so hopefully these things will happen less.

      yah

ive had similar things happen to me..once i was in a dream, realized i was dreaming but i couldnt function in the dream bc i knew i was laying down with my eyes closed and i struggled forever to open them..ive also had yah the feeling of laying down and i couldnt walk properly

these are only weak lucids, and bc you arent letting your mind truly 'go' into the dream
could be because you arent as experienced in lucids, or your having trouble letting your conciousness join your subconcious counter-part, ie get lucid
