      Stephen LaBerge MILD technique questions.

In the book Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming he talks about the MILD technique and he says that you wake up in the middle of the night to do it (REM period). And I was wondering if it will be as effective if you do it while you're falling asleep. Thanks

Should be more effective. Doing WBTB tends to greatly increase the success of many techniques. MILD is one of my favorites and I'll probably start doing it how LaBerge suggested as soon as recall is back up.

Edit: Misread your post. Doing it when first going to sleep at night will probably be less effective. Not impossible, but still.

I personally did WBTB and MILD, waking up 5ish hours after going to sleep then getting up and reading dreamviews for 30 mins or so, and falling asleep doing MILD.
Don't know about other people but it worked my first try, maybe just luck i guess. Im assuming its effective ^.^
