Alarm app that makes a sound and then shuts off?

Does anyone know of this? An app where it (the ipod touch) makes one noise to wake you and then shuts off so you dont have to move?
      Thanks!

I don't know if this will work on an Ipod, probably not, you'll need java. I'll post it anyway, it's pretty good in my opinion.

No, it won't work. iPods do not support Java.

I looked at a bunch of alarm and reminder apps, but all of them you either have to turn off yourself, or they won't work like we'd want them to.

You can try using the built-in Calendar. Create an event at the time you want to wake up and turn the alert on. When it goes off it makes just a couple beeping sounds and thats it. If you're a heavy sleeper it might not wake you up tho, better have the volume turned all the way up. For light sleepers it should work perfectly. I'll try it tonight.

12.24 alarm clock, the period in the name may be a comma. It's paid though I think. See if saltcube timer will run in safari/opera mini/cloud browse

Well I guess it's settled then, both the calendar and clock app are the best options (as they are free).

As long as its not hard for you to wake up from alarms, the calendar will work perfectly. Just make sure you set the alert to on, and turn the volume up.

You can set more than one and at any times you want (well almost, has to be in 5 minute intervals). And you can set them to repeat every day, so you only have to set it once!

BUT REMEMBER THIS: With apps, most of the time you have to have the app running and sometimes can't let your ipod go into sleep mode and have to keep it running all night, which gives a good chance it will die. I tested the calendar feature during the day and it works in sleep mode.
