Thread: Would Self Hypnosis work?

I think so but IMO the normal way 'things' get into dreams is by hypnosis without our concious knowing.

Self-hypnosis has worked for me. I've only used it once to initiate a lucid dream. I used a very quick and simple technique often taught to reinforce a hypnotherapy session daily, but I got spontaneously lucid in the coarse of my dream that night. The technique took less than a minute. I plan to further explore hypnotic induction this week, but I plan to try out more formal methods. Either way, the technique seems promising.
