      Awareness while speaking with people

      Hello,

      I've been trying the All Day Awareness technique for the past days. I have no trouble being aware of the things around me when I'm alone, but I completely lose awareness when I start talking to other people or become too involved in a task at my job. What are some techniques to keep awareness of my surroundings while still paying attention to a conversation or a task that requires concentration?

      I have not read about the All Day Awareness technique, but to be aware ALL the time isn't necessary, to lucid dream you need the ability to regain awareness.

      So don't try to be super aware when you talk to people, pracctise awareness when you have the time instead.

      But if you really like the idea of pure awareness, I recommend this Google Seminar about Mindfulness:
