My problem with the FILD technique has been when i wake up to try the technique I don't know when I'm about to fall asleep like on the edge of falling asleep which is when your supposed to attempt it. Does anyone have any tips on that? |

I take it as a sign that I am right about to fall asleep when my mind really starts to drift. Like I will be thinking about a test tomorrow for example and without noticing, over the next 30 seconds, my mind has headed off in a completely different direction. Do you know what I mean? |

I don't have any experience with FILD, sorry. But check out this forum, I'm sure you'll find something about it here. Good luck |

I've played around with this technique a lot, but I don't use that much. Unlike most tutorials out there, I set mine up like a DEILD. I'm up only for a few seconds while mentally doing the FILD motion. As soon as I feel the transitional phase (sleep and all that stuff) kicking then, then I stop movements, and focus on either nothing, or creating the scene in which I want to start out in, like any other WILD technique. |

Use a mantra to wake up at night. |
