The article I posted earlier suggests that the birds died from impact due to being frightened and flying into buildings and such on New Years Eve when the fireworks start at midnight.
did you also deduce that because it doesn't fit into your paradigm and because it sounds paranormal and you are so close minded that it simply isn't true?
I thought fireworks were for 4th of July, maybe in Arkansas they shoot off fireworks on New years eve. Did it happen anywhere else? Also, it is one species of birds, not all birds. And wasn't it the same day that one species of fish also turned up dead from impact trauma?
Since we have explained the sun rising earlier there is nothing to worry about. Relax folks, there is an explanation. Everything is ok. If there isn't an explanation that means that next year is 2012, but since global warming is melting glaciers in Greenland, everything will be fine in 2012. We are not going to learn to take care of the planet, we don't need to, because we can explain why everything is messing up.
Large animal die-offs happen all the time. Good thing it doesn't happen to humans, unless we do it to each other, or there is a horrible natural disaster. But it won't happen in 2012 because everything is going to be okay in 2012. Because we understand, due to our recently acquired logic and rationality. In fact, 2012 should just be slightly worse than 2011, but not much more. 2013 should only be slightly worse than 2012. But no, nobody will become enlightened, because that is not possible with rationality. Ascension?! Forget about it! What does that even mean? Fly away to heaven without dying? Good luck. Nobody here gets out alive. Turn to light? The people that happens to don't have tvs, computers, telephones, or cameras. If they did, they would be too distracted to turn to light.
The continents to spin to the other side of the planet? What force could do that? Change the axis of the planet's rotation? Again, wouldn't you need an outside force to do that? Maybe a comet or asteroid, but how would that be predicted? But people getting wise, people learning, people deciding to treat one another as they want to be treated, people deciding that war is a primitive and childish behavior and it creates more problems than it solves, healing the Earth, that is the most unrealistic thing yet! If we decide to change that means that the Earth has won, and we lost. We don't negotiate with terrorists! People dying off? That is the most probable outcome, but of course it won't happen in one year. Unless someone opens up a black hole when they start their particle accelerator (isn't the biggest one ever going to be turned on for the first time in 2012? I don't know). Aren't astronomers going to have a telescope finished in 2012 that will be able to look so far out into space that they will be able to see the big bang?. Could it be, that given the collective psyche of humanity, even though there are explanations for everything, reach such a point of psychosis that something snaps, the pendulum swings to the other extreme, the mind opens and a glimpse of reason descends? But that can't happen, that is what explanations are for preventing.
Before we get too proud of how much smarter modern man is: Archaelogists have discovered that humans have had sophisticated boats and have been sailing the world for 250,000 years. Before recently, they thought that boats were only 11,000. What's more, they discovered that ancient people had a way of mapping their longitude based on the moon's orbit. Modern people could not figure out how to do this until the mid 20th century using multiple clocks.

as I said before you have to becareful your not just hearing what they want you to believe.
if the birds really did die from being frightened due to loud noise (which seems really silly), then why were the birds all the exact same type?
Everyone here in Colorado says that it is a HARP experiment that killed them. Lol, HARP, as if the government would waste their time trying to make weapons of mass destruction with Tesla's inventions, or try to manipulate the weather. Lol. Silly gullible people. The government doesn't do stuff like that.

I'm a bit confused by your post not sure what your trying to say.
But can we forget about the damn birds? lets just take the very first point: "sun rises 2 days early in greenland"
don't you people think this is significant? this doesn't mean anything to you? for this to even happen means the earth has tilted! and within the space of 1 year seeing as this didn't happen last year. the news about the new zodiac is because of this tilt. this is extremely significant news! if the earth's tilt changes, everything else that was dependent on its old rotation changes. The weather patterns change, ocean gets warmer/colder in different areas, upsetting currents and everything else down the line. Ice melts, oceans rise, etc, etc. the list goes on. And is it going to stop there? are there other things going on that the general public is unaware of?
I have to stop you right here, if the Earth tilted suddenly that means an outside force came and interacted with the Earth's tilt and pushed it. That didn't happen. Did you read the explanation? It IS significant, but not for the reasons you are thinking. It is because the glacier that blocked the sun had melted because of global warming.
The new zodiac isn't new at all. It is a misunderstanding perpetuated by the arrogant media. You see, there is something called "the procession of the equinoxes" that has been going on since the Earth existed. It means that the axis of the Earth is tilting steadily forever. The axis no longer points at the North Star. This did not happen suddenly because 2012 is coming. This is how it always has been happening. The ancient Greeks, the ancient Egyptians, The Ancient Hindus, they all knew this. The "new" zodiac sign has always been there, it was just decided 10,000 years ago that it wasn't important since it didn't fit mathematically with the rest of the year and it was of short duration. The media decides to have a little fun and discredit Astrology and poke fun of people who like to read their daily horoscopes and this is what happens. 2012 mania. Now, Hindu Vedic astrology has decided to compensate for the gradual tilt of the the Earth's axis and adjust the zodiac signs for when the Sun is going through those actual constellations. This is called sidereal astrology. But western astrology thinks that the zodiac is more a map of the seasonal influences than actual constellations in other galaxies, and this is called tropical astrology. The word tropical comes from the tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn. You see, aries, being the first fire sign, can be thought of as a spark, which happens on the spring equinox, the spark of life. Leo, the second fire sign, is a bonfire at the height of summer. Sagittarius, the last fire sign, is the embers and ends at the winter solstice, the darkest time of year, the fire goes out, and it is winter. This is why we have kept the old way instead of adjusting it to the "new" zodiac. The new zodiac sign has always been there, but isn't important for the seasonal map. There is a logical explanation. Next year won't be 2012, wait, yes it will!
Personally, I hope that people wise up in 2012. But I wished they had been doing it all along. But if they don't do it but the end of 2012, then I hope they do it 2013. If they don't do it, eventually humans will die off.
But I suppose my point is that humans don't have to wise up if we can distract ourselves with coming up with logical explanations for why the world is going to shit so we can accept it and die off.

I know, especially since that is not the prophecy. That is all projected onto the prophecy by the media and doomsdayers.
I wasn't debating anything, I was telling about the procession of the equinoxes and how the media distorts and gives misinformation.
I personally do believe in the whole Age of Aquarius, Satva Yuga, 2012 thing. But in my humble opinion I believe that it will mostly go by unnoticed by the general population.
Because it is a gradual slow process and it has been building momentum for over 100 years. Most people won't notice anything new. Inho.

Uhm... Homo Sapiens Sapiens (us) didn't exist 250 000 years ago.
But homo sapiens did, and apparently they were very good at sailing.
Anatomically modern-appearing humans originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago. The emergence of anatomically modern human marks the dawn of the subspecies Homo sapiens sapiens, i.e. the subspecies of Homo sapiens that includes all modern humans.

I heard this fact on NPR the other day. Apparently it is a ground-breaking discovery and changes our whole idea of the history and development of early humans. I am trying to find out more about online right now.

OK, Oops, I exaggerated. Big Surprise. It was mentioned on NPR, I was driving through the snow. My friend also heard it and we were talking about it. Perhaps that is where I got 250,000 from. But still, it is making big news. Here is the article:
Spoiler for Early humans, possibly even prehuman ancestors, appear to have been going to sea much longer than anyone had ever suspected.

That is the startling implication of discoveries made the last two summers on the Greek island of Crete. Stone tools found there, archaeologists say, are at least 130,000 years old, which is considered strong evidence for the earliest known seafaring in the Mediterranean and cause for rethinking the maritime capabilities of prehuman cultures.
Crete has been an island for more than five million years, meaning that the toolmakers must have arrived by boat. So this seems to push the history of Mediterranean voyaging back more than 100,000 years, specialists in Stone Age archaeology say. Previous artifact discoveries had shown people reaching Cyprus, a few other Greek islands and possibly Sardinia no earlier than 10,000 to 12,000 years ago.
The oldest established early marine travel anywhere was the sea-crossing migration of anatomically modern Homo sapiens to Australia, beginning about 60,000 years ago. There is also a suggestive trickle of evidence, notably the skeletons and artifacts on the Indonesian island of Flores, of more ancient hominids making their way by water to new habitats.
Even more intriguing, the archaeologists who found the tools on Crete noted that the style of the hand axes suggested that they could be up to 700,000 years old. That may be a stretch, they conceded, but the tools resemble artifacts from the stone technology known as Acheulean, which originated with prehuman populations in Africa.
More than 2,000 stone artifacts, including the hand axes, were collected on the southwestern shore of Crete, near the town of Plakias, by a team led by Thomas F. Strasser and Eleni Panagopoulou. She is with the Greek Ministry of Culture and he is an associate professor of art history at Providence College in Rhode Island. They were assisted by Greek and American geologists and archaeologists, including Curtis Runnels of Boston University.
Dr. Strasser described the discovery last month at a meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America. A formal report has been accepted for publication in Hesparia, the journal of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, a supporter of the fieldwork.
The Plakias survey team went in looking for material remains of more recent artisans, nothing older than 11,000 years. Such artifacts would have been blades, spear points and arrowheads typical of Mesolithic and Neolithic periods.
“We found those, then we found the hand axes,” Dr. Strasser said last week in an interview, and that sent the team into deeper time.
“We were flummoxed,” Dr. Runnels said in an interview. “These things were just not supposed to be there.”
Word of the find is circulating among the ranks of Stone Age scholars. The few who have seen the data and some pictures — most of the tools reside in Athens — said they were excited and cautiously impressed. The research, if confirmed by further study, scrambles timetables of technological development and textbook accounts of human and prehuman mobility.
Ofer Bar-Yosef, an authority on Stone Age archaeology at Harvard, said the significance of the find would depend on the dating of the site. “Once the investigators provide the dates,” he said in an e-mail message, “we will have a better understanding of the importance of the discovery.”
Dr. Bar-Yosef said he had seen only a few photographs of the Cretan tools. The forms can only indicate a possible age, he said, but “handling the artifacts may provide a different impression.” And dating, he said, would tell the tale.
Dr. Runnels, who has 30 years’ experience in Stone Age research, said that an analysis by him and three geologists “left not much doubt of the age of the site, and the tools must be even older.”
The cliffs and caves above the shore, the researchers said, have been uplifted by tectonic forces where the African plate goes under and pushes up the European plate. The exposed uplifted layers represent the sequence of geologic periods that have been well studied and dated, in some cases correlated to established dates of glacial and interglacial periods of the most recent ice age. In addition, the team analyzed the layer bearing the tools and determined that the soil had been on the surface 130,000 to 190,000 years ago.
Dr. Runnels said he considered this a minimum age for the tools themselves. They include not only quartz hand axes, but also cleavers and scrapers, all of which are in the Acheulean style. The tools could have been made millenniums before they became, as it were, frozen in time in the Cretan cliffs, the archaeologists said.
Dr. Runnels suggested that the tools could be at least twice as old as the geologic layers. Dr. Strasser said they could be as much as 700,000 years old. Further explorations are planned this summer.
The 130,000-year date would put the discovery in a time when Homo sapiens had already evolved in Africa, sometime after 200,000 years ago. Their presence in Europe did not become apparent until about 50,000 years ago.
Archaeologists can only speculate about who the toolmakers were. One hundred and thirty thousand years ago, modern humans shared the world with other hominids, like Neanderthals and Homo heidelbergensis. The Acheulean culture is thought to have started with Homo erectus.
The standard hypothesis had been that Acheulean toolmakers reached Europe and Asia via the Middle East, passing mainly through what is now Turkey into the Balkans. The new finds suggest that their dispersals were not confined to land routes. They may lend credibility to proposals of migrations from Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. Crete’s southern shore where the tools were found is 200 miles from North Africa.
“We can’t say the toolmakers came 200 miles from Libya,” Dr. Strasser said. “If you’re on a raft, that’s a long voyage, but they might have come from the European mainland by way of shorter crossings through Greek islands.”
But archaeologists and experts on early nautical history said the discovery appeared to show that these surprisingly ancient mariners had craft sturdier and more reliable than rafts. They also must have had the cognitive ability to conceive and carry out repeated water crossing over great distances in order to establish sustainable populations producing an abundance of stone artifacts.
Oh, Greenland is like Northern Alaska. There are periods where the sun doesn't rise. Apparently it came up a couple days earlier then expected. Admittedly, that's wierd. But let's be honest. There are enough strange things that happen you could find stuff comparable to that level of oddity every single year. Which is why there will never be an end to this kind of stuff.
It is, I'd like to see more of it. I am new here. You in Colorado also!
Yep. I've lived here off and on for most of my life. I've moved away a few times but always end up coming back. People seem to live active, progressive lifestyles and are friendly enough. The environment offers plenty to do especially for thos ewho like the outdoors. And it is very beatiful.
Fix your country says your from Hungry. and Second its Haarp dickhead and your classic line as if the goverment would waste the time trying to make weapons of mass destruction is Well fucking retarded Atomic bombs nukeclear warheads i think your walking around with your eye's glued shut and i also assume from your comments you havent done any research because if you did you would understand Haarp isnt teslas idea but hey whatever you want to talk science fine get it right want to talk about what a goverment is doing Dont your feeble mind isnt able to deal with the kind of infomation out there as you have already got a set mind to this all being fake so therfore cant make Unbias decsision or even a simple logical observation so instead of playing Troll with small brain syndrome try shuting the hell up as you do not have the time to honestly see this for what it is and to think you said the goverment eouldnt waste their time on weapons of mass destruction oh my we have another one here you know the brainwashed types rofl at you and all your views and comments such a small mind
thanks buddy guy is going on a uneducated rant nothing worse then hear people who are just dam stupid trying to make other people belive there stupid beliefs and its all done with extreme bias
