With the magnetic people, it is strange, but since there is NO magnetic field detected...and since they can make objects like glass stick to them too, then I don't see how it has anything to do with being magnetic. It seems like that is being used as a gimmick to call them magnetic. But they could just as easily be called the glass family, or any other variation of what sticks to them.
The electric man is pretty sweet though, just because it says that he someday wants to try the electric chair. That would be insanely cool. I think that's around 2000 volts.
