And those who don't understand and would like to know what you are on about will ask you. Don't be a douche. Just answer the question.

      Hrm.

If you'd like to talk about the hip-hop album, Entertainment. If you're talking about the Law of Attraction (LoA), then try and be more constructive please.

You say you're seeing the car you want more often. Is it possible that you're just now noticing it? After my family bought an Oddyssey, I saw them all around town.

I was showing that the law of attraction is not all occult like people think it is. Obviously artists know what it is.

Artists can be occult (or stupid) too. They're not some sort of magical class that knows exactly what they're doing and why.

Quote for Truth. This man is 100% correct.

Besides, if they were on the soundtrack, they were most likely hired to make the movie more accessible to other audiences.

LOA seems stupid at first, but I happen to have experienced it a few times and I'm kind of impressed about that. That might just be a huge coincidence btw, but still.

Has anyone thought that maybe the Law of Attraction might be a psychological effect? Similar to a placebo? Maybe, when you really want something, your subconscious mind would start scouting old memories, and going through trial-and-error results to figure out what worked best in order to get you what you want? This may also be the reason why (from what I've heard) these things tend to happen when you stop consciously wanting it so bad.

What is so psychological about the placebo affect?

Belief has affect on the objective world. Not only with medicine, but this also works with quantum particles.

The law of attraction is the like kindergarten. It is before ABCs. That movie The Secret was a horrible movie that made it sound like it is some big secret and that there is a conspiracy to keep it a secret and that there are secret societies using it. C'mon! People from all walks of life have been using the law of attraction since before the stone age! Who cares how it works, it works, but I find it surprising that people are debating it.

The fact that intuition and our ability to 'attract' are simply the abilities to subconsciously notice, was something I have realized thanks to one of the DV members.

Still, there are often strange manifesting that cannot be explained by psychology. So strange and strong that it makes me do a reality check, only to realize once again, that life is, in fact, a dream.

Yup, I share this opinion too. Even though I was one of those who got to learn something from the movie, cause it made me think, I see why it is no wonder so many people reject it. You said it.

Can anyone actually prove the law of attraction or at least give us a story of how it worked for you and why it convinced you that the law of attraction is actually real?

I don't know if I believe it or not. I've never tried it. Do you just will things to happen?

It seems like it could be like that thing with numbers. For instance, if you for some reason believe that there is a specific number that you think is special in a way, or maybe it's just your favourite number, you'll start seeing it more often. My number is 27 and while it's interesting whenever that number shows up in my life, I don't really believe it has any significance. It just shows up more because you have programmed your mind to take note of it every time you see it while you ignore all other numbers.

So maybe with the law of attraction, you are just noticing things working the way you want them to more than you would before.

But then again, it might actually be real. My mom has a keen sense of finding things she is looking for at thrift stores. If she needs something (even if it's something that you don't often see at thrift stores), she can usually find one within a week. Although, I suppose this could be explained by the number thing as well.

There's no way to prove it because we can't be 100% sure if that promotion you just got was already going to happen or not.

Ok, here are two examples. First one is intentionally induced, while the second is a result of a strong spontaneous emotion.

      1. There are this new luxurious apartments built in my city. I told my friend I would like to see them inside. She said, how the hell are you going to see them? I had no idea how I was gonna see them, i just decided that I would! I visualized my self in that location, truly feeling something like: ah, this is it, now i saw it! This is very distinctive from daydreaming, cause daydreaming means unaware lurking around your memories and imagination. Visualizing, on the other hand, has to be an extremely lucid process. Sort of bringing the goal to here and now.
Anyway, that's what I did, and guess what... I got a job that required me to go there! If I had to guess 1000 different ways of achieving that, I wouldn't think of this one, that's how 'out of the blur' this job was.

      2. I have a horrible phobia of bugs. One evening that intense fear overwhelmed me, cause I remembered one terrible episode I experienced with one specific bug I saw once in my life. I was lying in my bed, and I just KNEW that very bug is above my head. So I turned on the lights and looked around even though my reason was telling me to cool down. It of course WASN'T there. Somehow I managed to calm down and fell asleep.

Tomorrow, however.......there it appeared, on the wall, in another room!

So there you go. Yes, we could call it a coincidence if it was about these two examples only. But it's not.

Momentary fear is so intense and makes us lucid by anxiously observing the moment and the silence, therefore every visualization has a great potential to be manifested. That's just my personal experience.

Lol visualization has the potential to be manifested? I don't think you understand how the law of attraction explains the mechanics of thinking, not manifestation. it just happens to be that all our thinking is connected resulting in "accidental" manifestation. This is God working, synchronizing thoughts to make your desires come true by using someone else who's desire is the exact opposite. For example if you want a car for free, then the only way to manifest said car is create the desire of a guy just giving you a car for free. This is how you attract things towards you.

Don't forget, it could also be someone else using the law of attraction to make you do something and you may think that you are the one desiring something, but it is actually another person, for example, the guy who wants to give someone a car for free can use the law of attraction to make you desire to get a car for free by using the law of attraction. It works both ways, I don't think there is a way to tell who is the first one.. who is the one making it happen? The guy who wanted to give a car for free or you that desired a free car?

Many people take the law of attraction too litterally.. sure it will still work by just visualizing, but if you take a little time to try and understand how it is the mechanics of the thinking of humanity, you will find it a lot more useful. it's all about the global consciousness, how we are all connected. Not visualizing something and making it magically pop into existence.. lol come on..

No it doesn't. Please don't talk about quantum mechanics if you know nothing about it.

It dosnt seem like anyone has any sort of logical answer yet to how the law of attraction makes any sense other than "its just the way it is" or some indirect answer.

Im not trying to dis the spiritual LOA followers but can someone just put a little sense into it.

Through wanting things and focusing on them, you gain them and it has nothing to do with the effort your putting in to gaining them?

Please give me some real feedback
